The excursions on board of horse-drawn sleighs at Cavloccio lake are also very spectacular

Every year, in March, the Engadin Ski Marathon takes place, one of the most prestigious cross-country skiing competitions in Europe, with more than 10,000 skiers at the start; the Maloja Palace Hotel is the protagonist as it hosts the start of the 42 km long marathon on skis.
